A truck-mounted cherry picker and a qualified operator, by the day. We bring it, set it up, work it, and take it away — so you get the access you need without hiring a machine and working out the rest yourself.
Day rates from £356 ex. VAT, machine and operator included. Fuel at cost on top, confirmed when we quote.
What you get for the day rate
The machine and the operator
You are not hiring a truck and working out the rest yourself. The day rate covers the cherry picker and a qualified operator to work it.
Safe set-up and operation on site
We position the truck, set it up, and operate it for the duration of the job — so the working at height, and the responsibility for doing it safely, sits with us.
Delivered and collected
The machine arrives on site and leaves again with us. There is nothing for you to transport, licence, or store.
A qualified operator
The machine is worked by an operator holding the relevant operator certification for it (IPAF/CSCS as applicable). Working at height is the part of this job that goes wrong, and it is the part you are hiring out — so it is done by someone qualified to do it, not handed to you with the keys.
If you need to see the certification for your own site paperwork, ask when you ring and we'll get it to you.
What it's good for
Anywhere you need to get someone safely to height and a ladder or tower won't do it. Some of the jobs it suits:

Day rates
Every rate below is per day, ex. VAT. The operated rate is the machine plus our operator — that is the one most people want.

- Operator is £200/dayand is already included in the “with operator” column.
- A banksman can be provided if your site needs one, for an extra £150/day— useful on tighter sites or where traffic/pedestrian management is needed. Let us know when you enquire and we'll confirm if you need one.
- Fuel is charged at cost on top. It depends on how far you are from our Colne base, so we confirm it when we quote rather than quoting you a made-up flat figure.
- Longer jobs are quoted.Operated hire is normally a standard working day. If you need several days, ring us and we'll price it properly.
